  • Federal Financial Aid Information – studentaid.gov Contact (800) 433-3243 Gives information on federal Pell Grants and provides brochures for other sources of federal aid.

  • FAFSA Application- studentaid.gov Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  The FAFSA is used to apply for all federal financial aid.  (“fafsa.gov” despite several updates and changes, FAFSA.Gov is still an active URL)

  • U.S. Department of Educationhttp://www.ed.gov Provides information regarding the federal grants (PELL), loans and college preparation information for students, parents, and educators.  This website links to the on-line Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.

  • College Board- www.collegeboard.com Provides information on preparing for the PSAT, SAT and other College Board standardized tests.  Provides information links to two and four-year college websites, financial aid, and scholarship resources.  The College Board manages the CSS Profile form required by about 250 colleges to apply for institutional aid and scholarships.

  • HBCU Connect - HBCUconnect.com Provides information, school matching, social networking, scholarship information and news on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

  • ACT- www.act.org Provides information on preparing for the ACT standardized test used by most colleges.
